THE HEMP-IT GROUP
AN INNOVATIVE COOPERATIVE
Based in the heart of Anjou, HEMP-it is an agricultural cooperative specialising in the production and marketing of industrial hemp seeds.
HEMP-it selects, produces and markets its members’ seeds with the aim of building a sustainable, competitive, responsible form of agriculture in line with its values: commitment, enthusiasm, sustainability, courage and quality.
Powered by a network of 180 propagators and 40 employees at an 8,000 m² production site, with 500 cultivated plots, we offer our customers in France and around the world a wide range of certified industrial hemp seed varieties.
In 2024, the HEMP-it Group also began producing flax seeds. It has risen to the challenge, with production areas increasing in size every year. This activity complements the production of hemp seeds, and represents a major asset for our producers: a single organisation that allows them to produce two different but complementary crops, ideal for crop rotation due to their short cycle.

We guarantee seed quality, traceability and compliance via a rigorous certification process.
MARKETING
With support from our sales team, we can advise you on the most appropriate varieties for your needs, whether your focus is on grains, straw, fibres, etc.

Since we began in 1964, we have been developing our business in the heart of Maine-et-Loire, a region renowned as a historic hub for hemp seed production due to its climate and its proximity to the Loire Valley. Polyculture, livestock farming, horticulture and seed production have shaped and still ensure the region’s reputation, guaranteeing the competitiveness of its agricultural production.
